Modern Romance - Cooling Castle

On Monday 8th August I provided flowers for Elisha and James' wedding at Cooling Castle. Elisha carried a shower bouquet of pale pink Heaven roses, pink 'Miranda' David Austin roses, white lisianthus, white Oriental lilies and foliage. The Bridesmaids carried heart shaped bouquets of ivory roses. Wrist corsages of David Austin 'Patience' roses were also provided for the Bridesmaids and female guests. Unfortunately I do not have photos of the bouquets or corsages but hope to be able to blog photos of them soon.

Elisha decided to go with large arrangements standing over a metre in height. The colour scheme was pale pink with turquoise accents. We decided to go with pink and white flowers in the arrangements and use coloured turquoise water in the vases in tie in the colour scheme.

A combination of pale pink hydrangeas, ivory gerbera, pale pink gerbera, white Oriental lilies, asparagus meyer and hard ruscus were used to create the large full arrangements. These were placed on a 80cm fluted vase and placed on a mirror plate with tea lights.

I provided chair covers for the wedding with both turquoise and pale pink organza sashes. The head table was dressed with pale pink organza swags with turquoise bows and finished with fairy lights.

The beams in the barn were dressed with fairy lights and heart shaped arrangements of pale pink carnations.

Elisha and James' amazing cake was dressed with pink roses supplied by the baker.

In the ceremony room I provided a long low arrangement of pale pink hydrangea, white Oriental lilies, ivory gerbera, pale pink gerbera and pink Heaven roses. This was later moved to the head table.

Two of the table centres were placed in the ceremony room and were moved into the barn after the ceremony.
