Anyone For Tea? - Rowhill Grange 12th May 2012

On Saturday I provided the flowers for Georgina and Sean's wedding at Rowhill Grange.

Georgina had lots of ideas for her wedding flowers and finally decided on large domed arrangements in tea pots for the guest tables along with tea cups and cake stand arrangements for the head table.  The colour palette was soft pinks with ivory and a touch of taupe.  We decided to use Avalanche, Sweet Avalanche and Amnesia roses along with Bombastic and Snowflake spray roses as the main flowers along with white stocks, white hydrangeas, white waxflower, white veronica, pink astilbe and white peonies.

Georgina's large hand tied bouquet contained Amnesia, Avalanche, Sweet Avalanche, Bombastic and Snowflake roses along with white peonies, white veronica and white waxflower bound with lace ribbon and pearl pins...

The bridesmaids carried hand tied bouquets of Avalanche roses with white peonies and Snowflake spray roses bound with ivory satin ribbon and pearl pins...

Sean wore a buttonhole of Amnesia and Snowflake roses while the rest of the bridal party wore Amnesia with a little foliage.

Wrist corsages of Snowflake spray roses were provided for the ladies.

Georgina was hoping to have her ceremony outside. After a weeks of rain the sun shone and the ceremony went ahead outside.  I provided two arrangements for the gazebo of white hydrangea, Avalanche, Sweet Avalanche, Amnesia, Snowflake and Bombastic roses along with white veronica and white stocks.  Two cups and the cake stand arrangement from the head table were placed on the ceremony table...

The fireplace in the reception room was dressed with jam jars which Georgina had provided and these were filled with a selection of the wedding flowers.  Window sills and the guest book table were also dressed with wedding flowers along with Georgina's bird cage which was used as a card box....

The gorgeous cake by The Yummy Cake Company was dressed with roses...

The guest tables were dressed with a domed flower arranged placed on top of some of my beautiful vintage tea pots.  The arrangements were all in their own self-contained dish and so could be given away at the end of the evening to Georgina and Sean's guests.  Pearl strands supplied  by Georgina were draped over the arrangements and rose petals sprinkled on the tables finished the look.  The arrangements were made from Amnesia, Sweet Avalanche, Avalanche, Snowflake and Bombastic roses, pink astilbe, white stocks and white waxflower with no foliage...

The head table was dressed with an arrangement on one of my two tier vintage cake stands. Flowers used were Amnesia, Avalanche, Sweet Avalanche, Snowflake and Bombastic roses, white peonies, white stocks and white waxflower.  This was placed in the centre of the table with a row of my vintage tea cups filled with  a selection of the wedding flowers...

The wall behind the head table was dressed with wire hearts covered in moss and ivy with roses and the beams were dressed with fairy lights and eucalyptus foliage...

A lovely themed wedding with amazing selection of flowers - just my cup of tea! xx

Nicola & John - Bickley Manor 5th May 2012

Nicola & John's theme for their flowers was simple and elegant.

Choosing only ivory/white flowers with green accents along with champagne coloured sashes on the chair covers.

Nicola chose a hand tied bouquet using ivory Akito roses with diamante accents with smaller versions for her bridesmaid and flower girls, all bound with ivory satin ribbon.

Simple Akito rose buttonholes with foliage for John and the Groomsmen and Akito rose and white freesia corsages for the ladies...

For the tables Nicola decided upon low arrangements displayed in square mirror cube vases.  I used ivory Akito roses, white double lisianthus, white freesia and achemilla mollis to create a fresh neutral look. Photos below taken by Nikki Waterlow

Latest News - April 2012

I've not blogged for a while so a little update on what I've been up to. At the beginning of the month I provided some of my lovely vintage china for an 18th birthday party. Lots of orders have been coming in for the china over the past few weeks ready for the summer - the Jubilee weekend in particular.

On the 14th I provided chair covers for a 2 weddings, one at The Bulls Head, Chislehurst and at Sundridge Park Golf Club. Also did a wedding fair that weekend at Broke Hill Golf Club.  I'll post photos later (not uploaded them yet!).  More chair covers today at Cooling Castle then a nice rest this weekend!

I'll post more in a couple of weeks, I have a wedding at The Bickley Manor, one at Rowhill Grange (lovely vintage theme with lots of tea pots and tea cups) and I'm supplying china for a wedding in Chelsea.

Check out my Facebook page and Twitter for news and updates of special offers. xx

Tickled Pink - Sundridge Park Manor February 2012

On Saturday I provided flowers and chair covers for Lou
isa and Paul's wedding at Sundridge Park. When Louisa and Paul first came to see me, Louisa had no idea about what flowers she wanted. We looked through magazines and photographs before deciding upon pink Keano roses, lisianthus, veronica, bouvardia, hydrangeas and waxflower. The bridesmaids' dresses were turquoise so we tied this in with the chair sashes and the pink flowers worked beautifully with the blue.

Louisa's hand tied bouquet consisted of pink Keano roses, white bouvardia, white double lisianthus, white veronica, Snowflake spray roses and white waxflower, bound with turquoise ribbon. The bridesmaids carried similar style bouquets of Avalanche roses, pink bouvardia, pink double lisianthus, pink v
eronica and pink waxflower, bound with white ribbon. Unfortunately, I forgot to photograph the bouquets which is a shame because they were stunning.

For the table arrangements, Louisa chose large martini vase arrangements of white hydrangea, pink Keano roses, pink double lisianthus, pink and white veronica and pink and white waxflower. The head table consisted of the same flowers along with white and pink bouvardia.

White chair covers and a turquoise organza sash completed the look. The newly decorated Prince Regent room tied in nicely with the colour scheme.
