Pretty in Pink

On Saturday I provided flowers for Lisa and Barry's wedding at The Chateau in Shirley.

The colour scheme was pink and antique gold and Lisa chose to carry a small hand tied bouquet of pale pink 'Sweet Akito' roses whilst her two daughters carried flower girl bouquets of ivory 'Akito' roses.

Barry wore a single 'Sweet Akito' rose butonhole and the rest of the bridal party wore single 'Akito' rose buttonholes.

For the tables Lisa went for pale 'Pink Eye' gerbera in goldfish bowls with bear grass. These were placed on a mirror plate with tea lights around.

To bring some gold into the flowers, Lisa had bought two gold hand bags which I filled with flowers and these were used as the top table arrangement. Behind the top table was a fireplace and I decorated this with vintage crystal vases filled with 'Pink Eye' gerbera and bear grass and added some tea lights in between.

Timeless Elegance

I was back at Sundridge Park yesterday to provide flowers for Sarah and Chris' wedding. Sarah had chosen a white/ivory colour scheme using ivory roses, white hydrangea, white peonies, and white stocks.

Chris wore an Avalanche rose buttohole and the rest of the bridal party wore ivory Akito rose buttonholes (not pictured). Sarah carried a hand tied bouquet of ivory Akito roses with diamante and the bridesmaids each carried a single Avalanche rose (not pictured).

For the table arrangements I provided arrangements of white hydrangea, white peonies, white stocks with mini pittosporum foliage, placed on a clear martini vase. The flowers were beautiful - two of my favourites, hydrangea and peonies.

For the head table I arranged a selection of vintage style vases along the head table each holding a single flower - either a peony, rose, hydrangea or germni all with a little foliage. Crystals were sprinkled in between the vases. It was a lovely alternative to the traditional long low head table arrangement.

The room was finished off with white chair covers and ivory organza bows.

The rest of the venue was dressed with bay trees outside finished with fairy lights and ivory organza bows (not pictured), hurricane lamps with pillar candles and fresh rose petals (not pictured) and ivory organza swags on the staircase - one of my favourite weddings this year.

No weddings next weekend so no blog - I'm off to see the wizard!!

Small Weddings

I often provide just the bouquets and buttonholes for weddings and last Thursday provided bouquets and buttonholes for Kirsty's wedding and Cooling Castle.

The flower girls and bridesmaid carried hand tied bouquets of orange germini.

A Grand Affair

Today I provided bouquets and table arrangements for Amy and Dylan's wedding at Dulwich College. The colour scheme was black and white and this was incorporated using white/ivory flowers and black vases.

Amy chose a classic hand tied bouquet of ivory Akito roses with diamante detail. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions but without the diamante. Buttonholes and corsages were also created using Akito roses with variegated hebe foliage.

At the venue I created martini vase arrangements using gerbera, lilies, stocks and chrysanthemums.

I filled small vintage cut glass vases along with small bubble vases in between the main arrangements with a selection of white flowers to finish the look.

A traditional long low head table arrangement was created using lilies, gerberas, stocks and foliage.

The staircase was dressed with eucalyptus and white organza.

At the bottom of the stairs I placed a white urn and plinth with an arrangement of gladioli, stocks, lilies, gerberas and chrysanthemums.

Chic and Contemporary

On Saturday I provided flowers and chair covers for Jenna's wedding at Cooling Castle Barns. The colour scheme was burgundy and white with a hint of lime green.

For Jenna's trailing bouquet I used Grand Prix roses, white double lisianthus, white Singapore orchids, white Crystal Blush and red Bolero Calla lilies.

Jenna's bridesmaids carried overarm bouquets of Avalanche calla lilies with bear grass.

Jenna's table centerpieces were simple but effective. She chose to place a single Grand Prix rose under water in a cylinder vase and the look was completed with red and clear glass nuggets at the bottom of the vase and a floating candle in the top.

I also provided a pedestal arrangement for the ceremony room again using Grand Prix roses along with white gladioli, white anthurium, white Singapore orchids, moluccella, Safari Sunset leucadendron and white stocks.

The chairs were dressed with white chair covers and finished with a burgundy bow.

Fairytale Romance

On Saturday I provided flowers, chair covers and a fairylight backdrop for Sattie and John's wedding at the Bickley Manor. Sattie opted for a pink and white colour scheme with calla and oriental lilies as the main focus flowers.

For Sattie's bouquet I used pink and white calla lilies along with china grass and diamante accents.

The bridesmaids carried handtied bouquets of white calla lilies bound with pink ribbon.

For the table arrangements Sattie chose a mix of white and pink oriental lilies with bear grass. To tie in with Sattie's theme I treaded crystal beads along the bear grass and finished the tables off with mirror plates and scatter crystals.

The head table was dressed with a traditional long, low arrangement of white and pink oriental lilies, white lisianthus with a pink tip, white delphiniums, bear grass and foliage.

The chair were covered with white chair covers and pale pink organza bows.

The room was finished off with our fairlight backdrop, which looked spectacular.
